A-1 Machining Company was founded in 1975 to provide machining services of small parts for the aerospace industry. Through the years we recognized the need for turning and milling of quality large turbine parts. Investing in large equipment and a quality system, today we have turning capabilities up to 160” diameter, milling up to 120” and 5 axis machining with ISO 9001:2000 Certification.
We operate on a 24 hour basis in an air conditioned facility that is 36,800 square feet. Our most valued asset is our experienced and dedicated employees. In August of 2007, A-1 Machining was acquired by Lionheart Ventures, under the Crescent Aerospace Technology LLC Platform.
Lionheart Ventures is a private equity firm that specializes in industrial manufacturing companies and has significant operating experience to help guide its portfolio companies to the next level of growth. Since the acquisition, Lionheart has provided capital to assist A-1 Machining in its business expansion as well as strategic guidance.
