A-1 Machining is known for being able to work on the most difficult turbine engine components succeeding where others fail. A-1 has a long reputation for making demanding delivery schedules while maintaining short turnaround times and meeting rigorous quality and tolerance requirements.
In addition to this, A-1 Machining also has a long history of supporting developmental work on experimental and pre-production programs for our customers. Our Engineers are creative at problem solving and our operations team has a wide range of machine tools for turning and milling difficult exotic alloy turbine parts.
We have the ability to turn parts up to 150” in diameter, mill parts up to 120” in diameter and have 5-axis functionality. We are very experienced at working with the broad range of exotic Nickel-based alloys and Titanium. These alloys comprise over 90% of the considerable production volume handled by A-1 around the clock.
A-1 Machining also coordinates other value-added activities for our customers, including outside processing and NDT, and preparing complete certification and inspection reports for all machining and outside processing performed. A-1 also coordinates worldwide shipping and storage for our customers.
